Frequently Asked Questions about my 140 Gallon Reef Aquarium

What kind of lighting are you using?
This tank is still under construction. For the cycle process I am using two 175 watt 10,000k HID lights. Soon I am going to switch to two 400 watt fixtures and 14,000k lights. I also plan on adding some VHO atinic lighting.

What are you doing for circulation?
I am using a Dolphin Amp Master pump to power a closed loop system. The water is directed by a Oceans-Motion 4-way wavemaker. There is also some added circulation from the sump return pump.

What are you going to add?
Not sure which fish yet. For corals I plan on starting with zoanthids and ricordia.

What did it cost?
It costed about as much as taking a weeks vacation for two to visit the reefs in person.
