Here are some pictures of the 12 gallon DIY refugium built for the Oceanic Bio Cube 29 gallon reef aquarium.

There are a couple primary challenges with adding a refugium to a Biocube. For one thing in order to have a sump below your tank you need to either drill your tank for the overflow or have an overhanging 'siphon' overflow. Neither option is very good for you because drilling a hole in a biocube is way risky and an overhanging 'siphon' overflow won't work if you have a lid on the biocube. Here are the steps I took to solve this problem and add a refugium to my Biocube aquarium.
Here is a YouTube video of the result
Below I have listed the key steps to making it happen.

I converted this 15 gallon Eclipse aquarium into a refugium by drilling two holes into the glass tank. One to bring water into the refugium and one for an overflow.

A pool of water was created with the cut off rim of a sour cream container and some duct tape.

Used a diamond hole saw bought on ebay.

These screens were used to keep dibris from flowing into the display tank.
